- Indian stock market Index Sensex & Nifty 50 opened on the negative note today. Banking sector scripts like HDFC, ICICI Bank, SBI & Auto scripts like Hero MotoCorp, M&M were the big losers in the Sensex.
- Bharti Airtel closed at 117 after making the intraday high of 331 & intraday low of 316.

Session:
- Key gainers in the Nifty were Jindal Steel, HCL Tech, Tata Steel, Sesa Goa and Hindalco in the noon session.
- Grasim Industries rose on concluding Brownfield expansion of 36,500 TPA of VSF Capacity.
- Tata Communications surges on inking agreement with iStreamPlanet.
- Adani Ports gained movement on bagging security clearance to bid for project worth Rs 20,000 crore.

Closing Updates:
- Indian share market closed on green note on weekend. The 30 shares Sensex closed at 19575 while the 50 shares index nifty closed at 5944. Still the Nifty could not maintain the 6000 resistance level.
- Maket get affected from the profit booking by the traders in the rate sesitive sectors after the launch of RBI's policy.
- Jindal Steel 4.22%, Hindalco 2.30%, Tata Steel 2.22%, Sun Pharma 1.77% and HCL Tech 2.21% were the top gainers on NSE Nifty.
